In simple words, autism is defined as the mental condition where a person from his/her childhood faces problems with social interactions and has impaired communications. They do not behave or react to situations normally where repetitive behaviour, the inability to understand body language and much more which often differs from person to person.

Autism in a person is often diagnosed at the age of three and is something that stays along. While people get to hear different things about autism and tend to believe in them, not all of them stand true. Therefore, there is the need to bring forward reality and bust myths.

Myth 1 - For Those with Autism Do Not Like Friends and Company

Little do people know that for those with autism, they do not have the interpersonal skills as normal people do and therefore they aren't as approachable or probably cannot showcase their emotions to you. Myth 4 - Everyone with Autism Behaves the Same Way

The common attribute of not being able to express themselves or probably absorbing the feelings and expressions given out by the others around them is also known to have variations. Some understand it and take time to register while the others do not understand unless being repeatedly told about it. When it comes to providing them with help to perform their daily activities, each one of them have different needs, and it often depends on the way the parents adapt to it as well as the times when they get assistance from professionals in helping them out whenever in need.

Myth 5 - People with Autism Remain The Same All Their Life

Not at all. With time, they tend to develop maturity while understanding their surroundings in a better way. It is just that the way of attending to the needs stay the same while having the patience to deal with their problems and other issues. This is when professional intervention helps in making lives easy for them especially when they are trained to help autistic people.
