A Story For You About My Bad CARma

But before I share the details, I have a little story for you about my bad CARma. So here goes. Right before I launched my business, I bought a brand new silver Honda Civic. Leather interior, GPS, alloy rims…it was so beautiful! Just two days after my purchase, I was driving around LA looking for a new home when my cell phone buzzed. Glancing down for just a second to check who it was, I looked up to see that traffic had stopped dead in its tracks. Not good. From that one moment of distraction, I smashed into the car in front of me going about 15 miles per hour. My new car crumbled like an aluminum can, rendering it un-drivable. To make matters even worse, I hadn’t transferred my old insurance to my new car and when I called to report the accident, my insurance company told me that I was being dropped and that I had to cover the accident on my own. Double not good. Then, the woman’s insurance company came after me and was able to find a way to get the DMV to revoke my driver’s license for “getting into an accident without insurance”. Triple not good. I had a choice. I could either look at the circumstances in my environment and decide that “the universe” was telling me that I was going down the wrong path and that I should quit, or I could look at my situation and decide that “the universe” was testing my will and determination, and that I could move forward with my plan to build my dream business and make a real difference in the world. I picked door #2. Because of that decision to move forward, I have now touched the lives of hundreds of thousands of people, I am making more money than I could have ever imagined, and most importantly, I get to do what I love and genuinely help people every single day of my life. I share this with you because circumstances in your environment will always arise to shift you from you path. rnHow you choose to navigate around them will determine your destiny.
