Because Anthocyanins partially play a role of natural "sun screen" for plants, they also preserve antioxidants within the fruit. It wouldn't be normally possible, because of exposure to UV light, antioxidants would vanish and what is even more dangerous, it would lead to release of free radicals. Anthocyanins have a lot of features that will benefit your health and well being. They slow down aging processes, making your skin look younger and smoother. They prevent many neurological issues, you may encounter while time passes on. They have very positive impact on condition of your brain and thinking processes. They will keep you away from various inflammations and bacterial infections. This is directly connected with a fact that anthocyanins improve your immune system.
