"The more gratitude I feel for my life, the better my life becomes." On November 24, people in the USA will be celebrating Thanksgiving Day.Canadians celebrated Thanksgiving Day on October 10. Though you maylive in another country, the concept of "giving thanks" is universal. But how do we give thanks? Gathering with family and friends over aturkey dinner and appreciating our lives, is one way of many ways we cangive thanks. Everyday when I wake up, I spend a minute thinking about everything I'mgrateful for in my life -- from my health, to my relationships, to myfreedoms, to my opportunities, to my choices. That simple investment oftime has created a life I once only dreamed about. Thanksgiving is an attitude that has many benefits which we want tosustain throughout the entire year. It allows us to be conscious of ourown blessings, and it allows us to contribute to others. There are many ways to give... You could donate food to a localshelter. You could volunteer your time. You could simply say "hello" tosomeone you haven't talked to for many months.
