AISECT established the Skill Mission Society in 1985 under the leadership of Mr. Santosh Chaubey, who is the chairman of the society. Being one of the largest skill development, service, and e-gove ance networks, the society aspires to bring about a change in the untapped potential that exists in the suburban and rural areas of the country. This society falls under the NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) and the aim here is to train the youth in rural areas on various skills and make them employable so that they can earn a stable income that is more than that of a daily wage worker. This not only helps the country utilize highly motivated youth for the betterment of the economy but also helps the youth become financially independent. The idea behind this is to empower the youth. The government does not charge anyone for these training programs, and these courses are open to citizens of India between the ages of 15-35. AISECT, partnered with NSDC provides several vocational training courses that are divided into 34 sectors. AISECT is a leading training partner with the NSDC ministry and is allotted to set up 23 Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendras (PMKK) to provide skill training in Bhopal.
