Are toys for my young child to have fun also educational?

There are an over abundance of toys available to our youth. With all the toy selections there is no reason one cannot find toys that are both super fun and educational. So the short answer is yes, there are toys that are fun for my young child as well as eductional. Some of the most common toys that are fun and educational for young children are Legos, puzzles, and building blocks. The legos are very important in developing hand eye coordination in young children and they also help the child to be creative. A child can create animals, houses, hospitals and so much more when they use their minds and work with legos. Puzzles are another excellent toy to implement development in young children and helps them with dimensional usage. Puzzles engage the young minds in thinking about how the pieces all fit together and also helps with hand-eye coordination as well. The sense of accomplishment a child feels after struggling to put a puzzle together and seeing the final picture is a great feeling for the child. The child will develop self esteem when they realize what they have accomplished. Building blocks come in all sizes and are fabulous tools for young children. Blocks are commonly used in relation with other toys to fulfill the childs true sense of creativity while playing. Many children play dress up and use building blocks as a castle or a car or whatever their mind comes up with. There are many toys on the market that have been around for years that are truly loads of fun and educational. The three mentioned so far are not even a piece of what's available. The final toy that young children love and learn with is Clay. Many of us have fond memories of making clay in primary school and it is still a great resource for learning. A child can make animals, people, houses etc. out of clay and have no limit to the possibilities, other than their own mind.
