Do you get in the way of your thriving business? Has this ever happened to you: you wanted a new client or speaking opportunity, you received the lead, and the next thing you knew, the deal fell through or the new client canceled or postponed her appointment? The law of attraction explains: we create our experiences, mostly unconsciously. As we focus attention on what we want, we attract what we desire. And, when we focus on what we don't want, we repel what we want! We constantly flow between attracting and repelling with our thoughts, attitudes, beliefs, feelings and focus. The key: noticing how we naturally do both. Once you've communicated with your new client-in-waiting, do you think that you're probably not the best coach for her or do you feel excited about your compatibility with her? Do you think "she probably can't afford my fee" or do you assume she can afford the fee, otherwise she wouldn't have contacted you? Do you try to figure out how to fix her issue or do you automatically notice her inspiring vision? The more you start noticing what you think of or focus on automatically, the more you'll start connecting the dots to how you attract or repel your thriving business. The good news: thoughts are never carved in stone. When you catch yourself in "repel" mode, you can make a conscious choice to think a more attracting thought, thereby redirecting the outcome. You may not change history, however if you've repelled an opportunity or client, by changing your thoughts or redirecting your focus, you will attract new ones - thus attracting your thriving coaching business!
