Sit ups is definitely not the best fat burning exercise you can find. If you want to eliminate belly fat, I highly recommend you not to do sit ups. Because it is inefficient and you can do sit ups for an hour everyday and I don't think you will get to see great results. Why doing sit up is not a great way to tone your abs? Sit up only works on one small muscle group. Exercises such as calf raises or bicep curls focus on only small muscle groups like sit ups. When you are only training a small muscle groups, you can't burn as much calories as doing compound exercises that work your whole body. You have several muscle groups in your body. Some muscles are bigger than another. Your thigh, glutes, back and chest are some of the biggest muscle groups in your body. It is more effective if you target all of these muscles instead of just targeting on your stomach muscles alone. So what is the best fat burning exercise? Squats. Why is squat the best fat burning exercise? Squat works several of your muscle groups such as your thigh, glutes, back and your leg muscles. To tune it up, carry a bar bell or dumb bell when performing squats. Doing it with a good form will help you to prevent injuries, burn more fats and calories. Incorporate the Tabata style with your squats and you won't believe how worn out you will get after that. Note: Tabata protocol is created by Izumi Tabata and it requires you to perform an exercise for as hard as you can for 20 seconds followed by 10 seconds of rest. Rinse and repeat for a total of 8 sets and you will get an awesome workout. There are many great exercises that can help you burn fat more efficiently. These exercises usually include squats in them simply because of how this exercise is able to work more of your body in the same amount of time. Squats can help you to achieve more results using the same amount of time if you are doing isolation exercises. Exercising is essential if you want to lose weight but everything is for naught if you do not have a healthy diet. There are many people who workout furiously but do not get great results because they do not have a great diet. I do not want you to make this mistake and waste your workout. Always choose the healthier food to eat and your workout will not be for naught. Keep yourself disciplined and don't take your eyes off the goals and you will definitely achieve the body of your dream.
