As adults we realize that there are dissimilarities among women and men. You will find the physical dissimilarities and emotional as well. But have you ever wondered if babies are born with the emotional differences, or does situation dictate individuals differences. Really it's a little bit of both. The saying that boys will be boys is truer than you could imagine. Infant boys move about more than baby girls from the minute they are born. This results from infant girl being much more focused that boys. Girls have a tendency to focus quicker than boys. And when boys do start focusing on an object is for a shorter period of time than girls. This distinction is much more evident in toddlers as boys appear to harm themselves more that girls simply because they concentrate much less. Early on it looks like girls are smarter than boys. One reason people think this is because baby girls hit their milestones quicker than boys. The cause why girls hit the milestones faster is again because of the boy’s movement. They're in constant motion along with not focusing on anything for very long, thus it takes lengthier for them to reach their milestones. Even when they start attending school girls will initially do much better simply because boys are nonetheless having a difficult time focusing. The good news is that boys do begin to concentrate and so they catch up rapidly to the girls learning levels. Boys seem to have much less fear than girls. A girl may encounter something dangerous, she is more most likely to go and get her dad and mom. Whereas the boy will want to explore the hazard and see what it is all about. Some suggest this difference is because we'll just tell a boy “don't touch it’s hot”, but with a girl we would say “don't touch it gets hot and you could harm yourself. We clarify much more things to girls because they're more most likely to listen. There is no denying girls and boys are different. A study carried out in 2009 at Texas A&M University established boys and girls as young as three months of age show a preference for gender specific toys. They were able to make this discovery by means of using eye tracking technology. With all that being said, bear in mind every boy and girl are different and go through several stages. For instance a girl who played with vehicles and loved sports, might grow up to be a supermodel or the next Martha Stewart. The small boy, who used to love to play dolls and house, may well become the best quarterback in the NFL, or a corporate giant. Children go through many stages in life. Encourage them to be who they're and try to rid yourself of who you think they ought to be.
