Today's economy shows just how important business and personal development training is to your getting ahead and prospering in today's competitive work-place environment. Sadly, so many became so complacent in recent years when we thought the "Bubble" would never burst. Ouch, we were so wrong! As our benefits and salaries increased, our home prices all went up, up, up and so many people took for granted the importance of continuing their education. Then as fast as the foreclosure crisis hit main street, bank closures abounded and many companies lost their funding and as a result many, many, many people were put out of work and back into the job market. As these former employees went out looking for new jobs, they quickly become conscious of the fact that not only were they competing with their old co-workers, but also with the recent college graduates who had a whole new set of job skills that many job-seekers who'd been out school for a while, flat out didn't have! So how does this affect you? rnWell the world of business online that used to just consist of your email and corporate webpage, now is made up of the Bookmark Sites, Social Media Sites and Web 2.0 Sites. A few of the best known Social Media sites are Myspace, Twitter and Facebook. A few of the Web 2.0 sites are Google Video, Viddler and YouTube and not to forget the forever crucial Social Bookmark sites like Digg and Reddit, and that's just a very small sample. rnThis is important and I bring this up because if these sound alien to you, it most likely is a result of a lack of ongoing Business Training in the field of online marketing. Provide value first, create the relationship and if things go as you hope, then introduce your opportunity after it feels like it might benefit the both of you. It's true that the the basics of business training will get you in the door typically but, it's your own level of personal development that will close the deal. You've got to invest in your personal development in order for others to want to work with you.
