…And Mike Munchak fires him just after a day of becoming the coach. Mike Heimerdinger was diagnosed with cancer in November and is still continuing the treatment. Besides Mike, the new coach has also fired offensive assistant Richie Wessman and defensive assistant Rayna Stewart. The new Tennessee Titans coach, however, has said that it’s not about his health condition as he is feeling fine, but he made the decision because he feels that the team can benefit more from a different offensive coordinator. The Titans management said that they will continue to honor their agreement with the now former coordinator. According to the contract, Mike is under contract for 2011.
