Energy investments are flourishing ubiquitously and recently the energy department of Peru has decided to produce an energy investment of 5 billion US dollars within 2011. The Peru Ministry of Energy and Mines reported that, the energy investment allotted is 10 percent higher than the previous year’s energy investment. Daniel Camac, Deputy Energy Minister of Peru asserted that, the energy ministry has decided to render energy investment around 2.5 billion USD, to the hydrocarbon and power sectors separately. Daniel Camac also mentioned that, the investment in energy sector would experience a huge raise in the upcoming years. Minister of Energy said that, in Peru there are more than 26 renewable energy projects which are under construction and the implementation would take place throughout 2011 and 2012. The current investments and the new investment plans of Peru will increase the reserve margin to 15 percent within 2016 and it would increase the production of energy, which would be utilized for meeting the future energy needs. rnSubic Wind Power Generation Inc, established in China is planning to expand its power producing project situated in the Subic Bay Freeport. The company has furnished an energy investment around 125 million US dollar to construct solar energy project which has surpassed the amount invested for establishing wind energy farm. Green energy projects have been received approval from the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority in the free port with the support provided by the government. The company aims to speed up the advancement of these renewable energy projects and focuses on the power production grid of the country.
