Consciousness At Ikea. Mission Impossible?

Ikea is a grown-up candy store. Candy, candy everywhere. Even the colors: candy apple red, sour apple green, lemon drop yellow. And the prices-- how can I not want 20 rugs, they are only $2.99 each?! I walk in and all I can think is "Gimmegimmegimmegimmegimmegimme!"nnThis is when I become very human, very of this world. I dive right in with my human body and human desires and human needs and go human crazy. Ikea has lovingly created a world in which I always need two of everything. Often three. Sometimes four.nnSo how do we bring our meditative minds to our very human experiences? One way is to recognize that this human experience is one of celebration. Look at all there is to enjoy and partake in. Look at how much abundance is out there. At Ikea alone, there is clearly an abundance of stuff; but first there was just a single creative idea in the mind of a human being. An idea that grew and thrived and morphed into something that enables an enormous amount of people to love what they live in!nnWhen I think of all the lives that have been touched by this one person's ability to take an idea, believe in it passionately, and find the channels to properly materialize it... it blows my socks off. You may be thinking, "That's great, but what about me?" The real kicker is that this is in YOU. It is in everyone. No one person is separate from these qualities. All of us have genius, ability, support, and creativity in abundance! Tap into your own Ikea qualities. Let that blow your socks off.nnThis is the energy that we access in deep meditation. I call it Source Energy, or Divine Energy. It is the same in each and every one of us, no exceptions. This is where peace, harmony, creativity, wellness, joy, genius, love, and much more dwells in infinite abundance. You may sit in meditation for twenty minutes and only touch this for 2 seconds. But that's incredible! Touch this, even for 2 seconds a day, and you will be transformed. Touch this, and you can walk through Ikea knowing that this abundance is a reflection of your own abundant nature. This genius is a reminder of the genius living within and as YOU.
