He said " Hold your arm up straight and let it go weak if it wants to." What on earth was he talking about? What does that mean? Is it a trick? Those were the things we wondered about when we first treated using muscle testing. What I now know about this experience was, it was my higher self, helping the practioner know what the Universe wanted from him.nnThe next thing you know, it was me, failing abysmally, trying to learn how to test others. Arms are as different as fingerprints. Each arm, working a bit differently, some people's arms are very strong and hard to read, while others, work so easily each time they are tested. My lesson in muscle testing also involved my brain. Egads. Feeling the energy and knowing how it works is one thing. Understanding and deciphering what the arm was telling me was altogether something different. It was a long time before my instructor let me work on him without checking the arm himself. I began to wonder if I would ever be suited to testing the arm, as it seemed so very difficult. It felt as if he had some kind of magic trick or gift from the Universe that would never be given to me. nnWhat taught me? Practice, and - ummm - patience. Thanks to some wonderful people that let me work on them when I was just starting, eventually it all came together. That is what I would tell any student of Clear Point Therapy. Be patient, as I was the first student certified, and spent countless hours practicing and reading, then, practicing more. nnnThe He Man ArmnnnThe biggest challenge we still face, as therapists, are those clients who feel they must resist, who don't understand we are not body builders. Those arms are harder to read, they may only go a bit weak, to show us a yes. As we write this, we are self-induced tennis elbow recipients as we worked on some clients who wanted to be tested on the right side of their bodies, and they were very strong. It is easier on our arms, to stand behind their arm to the side of the table and push forward, thus, saving our arms. nnnRESETnnnHow do we know what their yes is? Practice. Another tip, if you don't feel any energy moving, your answer was incorrect. Or if you get a yes always on the last question, chances are, the client needs to be reset.nnWhat does reset mean? It means integrating the arm, the brain, and the higher self, so the arm can work with you. So you may be asking yourself, how would one reset? It really is very easy. A gentle tap on the crown chakra, [top of the head] or a VERY gentle and quick tug on the arm will work. If all of that fails, ask your client to stand up and walk around the table. That has worked for us when the arm quits working during our clients healing session.nnnThat "P" Word AgainnnnWhat it boils down to, and this is the tricky part, is what and how to ask. You can get pointers on this process; however, each client and each session is so unique, that we are taking you back to that word. PATIENCE. nnFirst. Wait, there is no real first for each of us uses a slightly different technique though each of us should be able to step into one another's shoes if we are working on someone else's client, to be in sync with each other, thus, holding a high standard for Clear Point Therapy. nnnTHE ARM TALKS TO YOUnnnIf we were teaching you, first we would tell you to ask the arm where to place your hands. When your client comes in, and you surround you and your client with protection, after you check their body for static, almost without fail, your first treatment will be hands on, to reset circuits, charkas and the energetic flow through the body. Usually, for us, it is hands on, over and under the second chakra, stomach to the middle or side, or heart. Of course this changes from week to week through the progression of the work. How do we know where to put our hands? The arm tells us. nnDepending on your level of attunement, that one treatment could take care of the infamous list.nnWhat can the arm tell us and not tell us? Is the arm a psychic vessel to the Universe? Well, here goes, and you may or may not like the answer. The arm is not reliable, nor is it ethical, to ask personal questions. Questions such as - does my son smoke? -- It is reliable on health and emotional issues, helping us to know where to place our hands. And when to move positions. nnnDANCINGnnnIt is much like dancing, being one with your partner, flowing to the music, or energy, feeling the vibration and sometimes the winds, as well as picking up emotions from your client. If you haven't learned to follow, you may step on toes. Stepping on toes can hurt, as the energy can be used unwittingly and at the same time, inappropriately. In that case you may be spending extra time on your client, as it will make you look like you are doing the two-step when you should be line dancing. Your client also will be wondering what happened on the dance floor. So once again, we ask you to be patient, listen to your teacher, ask who ever helps you for guidance. nnWe find it helpful with some clients to let us know when they feel an energetic shift, if they feel the energy; your client is a valuable tool. nnnTHE EGOnnnAm we 100% accurate with muscle testing? No! It is doubtful that any of us are, as we all have good days and better days, and the ego. nnThe ego is something we all, as Clear Point Therapists, must try to avoid. Don't try to second-guess what the client needs, for the arm knows, we are simply to test the arm and do what it tells us. nnWhat we can we do to avoid the ego, our own wishes when testing? First, we ask God for help. Second we hold the left arm at the back of my head on the occipital lobe.nnn nnnThat action helps take the ego out of the dance, and lets us flow to the music of the Universe. Have we learned all the dances? Never, for this profession is a never ending learning process filled with unending continuing education, and of course, the absolute personal requirement for patience.nnHow will you learn to dance with the arm?nn1. Find a practioner or friend to practice on, to get yeses and nos.nn2. Practice, practice and practice more.nn3. Eventually you will practice with your teacher, who will double check your findings.nn4. Next in progression you will be working with a Certified Clear Point Therapist working on their clients, and they will double-check your findings.nn5. Finally, after hours of work and study, you will be working on clients yourself.nn6. Be patient.nn7. Always feel free to contact a therapist for verification if you are unsure or find something that alarms you.nn8. You are on a journey with the rest of us, evolving and growing, your studies will never end, they will evolve.nn9. Now that you may be thoroughly confused, let your mind rest, turn on some music, and dance.nn10. Remember, take good care of you so you may serve your clients to your personal best. nnnThat is our take on muscle testing. We assure you we am not an expert, just like you, we are on this ride, to help others heal and release with the best therapy we have been exposed to, to date. Rely on the Universe/ Arm connection, and trust yourself.nnn
