STRESS IS the feeling of being over-whelmed by life challenges, expectations and responsibilities. At the roof of stress is the feeling of powerlessness at not being in control. While activities such as exercise, yoga, mediation, along with various forms of relaxation help reduce stress, it’s the unresolved life issues which keep creating new stress. So instead of spending your life trying to manage your stress, commit to De-Stressing by making your life permanently stress free.

How can you make De-Stressing your life a reality? By asking yourself The 3 Questions to identify the source of your stress and the pathway to resolution.

1. WHAT IS REALLY BOTHERING ME?
You might be thinking, “What do you mean what’s bothering me?... I have a demanding job. I have relationship issues, as well as endless demands on my time. Added to this, I’m gaining weight, and I’m too tired to go to the gym. Where do I start?”
If you are like a great many people, you may well know what is bothering you, but you lack the courage to speak your truth for fear of the consequences.
Building the confidence to speak your truth is a process of being more assertive. Start with small situations and work your way up as you increase your confidence to speak your truth.

2. WHO/WHAT IS DRAINING MY ENERGY?
Most of us try to be a kind and helpful to our friends and family members. But all too often the demands and expectations of that friend or family member can become excessive. You might find that such a person has a bottomless pit of needs, with never-ending problems and challenges.
Start thinking of yourself as a resource, rather than a one-stop shop. Suggest other people who may help, either professionally or from the community. In doing so you will free yourself of feeling drained and, you will often be more helpful in the process.

3. DO I NEED TO FORGIVE MYSELF?
When it comes to De-Stressing, engaging in the process of forgiving yourself for past regrets will be transformative. It is the holding onto old painful memories from the past which will drain your energy and cause endless stress. For it is the holding on which will cause you to beat yourself up for events in the past over which you had little control.
Self-forgiveness is making the decision to love yourself and honor your worth. Self-forgiveness, along with self-love are truly the antidotes for stress for they will enable you to believe in your ability to overcome the life challenges with which you are faced.

DE-STRESS YOUR LIFE NOW!
De-Stressing is ultimately a process of self-empowerment. It results from self-awareness as you come to understand your true inner feelings and the many options you have to take charge of your source issues.
