Diversifying your online income is one of the main things you must know when you have a website. Assuming you have most of your ads with Google AdSense. Let’s suppose it makes up 90% of your website's profit. What if Google cancel your account! You would lose 90% of your online income, then what would you do? Can you recover immediately? Most people would not. If you have a website, you can diversify by using pay-per-click, direct leads, PPA or pay per action or by getting commissions from promoting products or services. You just need to keep an eye on the performance of your website. One way of doing this is by checking which banners and ads are functioning well and which ones are not. Alternating you banners every so often is also a wise idea. Thereaders will become "banner blind" after sometime and will soon overlook all of your ads and banners. Opening other websites is another way of multiplying one’s profit. At present, I have a number of sites that I acquire profit from. Google banned one of my sites from their search engine roughly 4 months back! Among internet marketers, this is a ordinaryhappening. It appears that they considered my site as a link farm because of the various outgoing links to sponsor ads. At that time, I was being paid about $1000 per month for that website.Can you imagine the disaster if I didn’t have my other sites to pick up the slack? Another way to expand your sites is to have several of them on various servers. These days hosting is dirt cheap. Let’s suppose throw one or two of them up on a $5.99 a month server and pay for a year's worth of hosting, then you’re on the right track. Aside from the search engine benefits, you also need not worry if one of your servers will go down. If you want to earn the most money online then you completely need to broaden your income streams.
