Don’t Play Hard To Get With Guys

Playing hard to get is something that is supposed to create a feeling of need and want in a guy towards you. You do this by acting aloof to his advances, or you forget about your date that you had planned, or you act as if you are not interested in him and that you are really hard to get. But doing this is taking the chance that you will lose the guy before you get him or after you have him.

There are many guys who claim that a hard to get woman is what they prefer. They believe that if she is hard to get she is more sought after in the dating department. This means she must have something good to offer, right? Plus they will get the added bonus of showing their friends that they got the woman who very few guys can get. But studies have shown that even though guys theoretically prefer the hard to get woman, they actually prefer a woman who shows them interest in real life.

When you play hard to get you exude a sense of egotism or cockiness. You act like you are too good for someone to have without putting in a lot of effort and in most cases men will view you as a cold-hearted woman who doesn't want his attention anywase. There is only so much that a guy is going to give you before he realizes that you are not worth the effort he is putting out there.

If he does stick around and put in the effort to get you then you may be dealing with a guy who really enjoys challenges. This means that his main goal is to get your to say yes to him and be infatuated with him. This type of guy enjoys the chase and not so much the capture. The chase is fun, but when he finally wins and gets your affection there is nothing left for him to be excited about. These guys will normally drop you after the chase is over and all your efforts will have been wasted.

The best thing you can do when trying to land a guy you like is to play hard to get with the other guys around him, but show him your interest and attention. This will show him that you are into him and willing to allow yourself to show him that. It was also show him that you are not a woman who allows all guys to have her affection, and only the guy you like is the target of your interest. His friends will be amazed that he can get your because the message you send them is that you are hard to get.

Besides the hard to get aspect of it all you can simply show him you are interested in other ways.

You can answer his calls when phones.

You can respond positively to his advances.

You can tell him how cute or nice you think he is.

You can show him how much you like him with your body language and words.

Don't avoid doing these things because you think you will look easy or desperate. They are simply a sign of your attraction towards him. If you were easy or desperate then you would not only be responding favorably to his attraction or showing him your attraction in a respectable way, but you would be throwing yourself at him or harassing him.

Remember, if you avoid the hard to get game you will start getting the guys! Don't lose a guy because of a game you are playing with him because you will regret it later on down the line.
