Back pain especially the lower back is one of the most common problems of recent times. However, the problem of lower back pain appears not that serious in the beginning that you and visit the doctor, but it keeps bothering you in your everyday regimen. But it can turn out to be a major spinal problem if remain unattended. Below given are some exercises that provide relief from lower back pain. You need to do these exercises carefully. Never overdo any of the exercise and stop immediately if hurts you. Well, these exercises are not only for back pain relief, but also strengthen your muscles and enable you to stay fit.
1. Aerobics: rnIt is one of the simplest and greatest methods to keep the lower back pain at bay and work wonders if you are already having the back pain. Additionally, it is good for overall health and improves the functions of all main organs of our body. It keeps you healthy and strengthens your bones and muscles.
2. Stretching exercises: rnStretching brings flexibility in your body. If you include some stretching exercises in your daily work out session, you will get relief from your back pain. Your muscles gets strengthens and gives better support to your body. In addition to that, your body will be toned and remain in shape.
3. Strengthening exercises:rnTo get rid of back pain, it is very essential that you follow some strengthening exercises. It is very important for your entire body system. Make sure you include exercise for strengthening the muscles of your stomach, back, knees, legs etc.
Besides the above mentioned exercises, there are some additional exercises that work wonder in back pain relief. Here are they:
Wall Squats: May sound tough, but it provides great relief in back pain. To do this, you first stand straight with a support of a wall. Keep your back straight and then lean on the wall for the support. Move your feet atleast 3-4 inches away from the wall towards the front side. Now squeeze your abdominal muscles and start bending your knees slowly with your back following gradually. Remain in this position for a few seconds and then gradually move up straightening your knees. Repeat the process 5 times.
Raising legs straight: Lie down on the bed or any plain surface. Keeping one leg straight, just bend the knee of your other leg. Then slowly lift the leg while keeping the knee bent only. Remain in this position for a few seconds and then slowly bring your leg down. Take a deep breath and then repeat. Follow the same process with your other leg too.
Sliding your heels: This exercise sounds to be easy, but it needs to be done properly. First lay down on a bed or any plain surface and bend your knees. Gradually slide your heels toward front without lifting them. Follow the process for about 2 minutes when exercising. It really relives your lower back pain in sometime.
Hope the above mentioned exercises help you get rid of your lower back pain, but make sure you do it properly and slowly. In case you feel strain in your back while doing exercise then stop immediately and lay straight on bed.
