Beginning your master thesis? I know where you are stuck…

You don’t know how to write a psychology dissertation title page! Don’t worry…

I will share with you the expert opinion that helped me out in my masters…

Title Page:

This is the first element of the thesis, and the first page.

This page contains the topic, the name of the author, and some basic information.

The writing of this page does not involve any rocket science.

By the way, it is the easiest task of writing a thesis, but this does not imply that you can inscribe without any concentration.

A thesis title page is the first thing your evaluator will see; therefore, you need to make sure it is perfect in term of formatting.

An obvious blunder or sloppy effort will produce a bad impression, long before someone starts to evaluate the class of your work.

You will need certain guidelines to help you with the content of the title page.

So, here it follows:

1. First of all, you require leaving one-inch border at the top, base and right side.

2. Leave 1 ½ border on left side as there you need to leave half inch room additional which is taken by binding.

3. Your heading should be centered and apply ‘ALL CAPS’ option to inscribe your title. It should appear half-way down the page.

4. Then follows your name after leaving a 3-4 lines space below your main title. Your name should also be centered and in all caps.

5. After leaving a single line space after your name, mention your previous degree and date of commencement if significant.

6. Next inscribe the motive for submitting the project, after leaving a four line space after the previous step. After writing this, leave a for line space for the next step.

7. Now you will inscribe the name of your university and your department

8. Finally, Date of submitting the work - month and the year of submitting.

Face value of this leaf:

Most thesis counselors pay attention to the title leaf.

Do make it appear as professional as possible.

There are certain formats set by universities for the title page, so you must strictly follow those formats.

But if no format restrictions are there, then you can use any format as long as you are professional.

It is strongly recommended that you use simple formats when you write a psychology dissertation title page and avoid using tables, graphs, and images entirely unless it is the requirement of your professor.

Make sure that the title given at the top of the abstract has the same phrasing as the title shown on your title page. Do not include lengthy explanations and opinions.

Conclusion:

Most students don’t know how to make a title page and its significance.

It is the first page of your thesis and it should give the reader a very good impression so that he is encouraged to read further.
