The template can get altered when some user tries to upload a lengthy file or photo. Video files and Flash insertion cause the highest amount of error. Now these errors will take time to be rectified by the CMS as it won’t be easy to find the cause of error. Sometimes the user may lose important data especially which discussing with a client which will result in his failure to get the deal. • As the Facebook CMS work on fixed templates, there is very less chances of flexibility. As the CMS has fixed templates there is very less the user can do. He has to limit himself in it which makes all the pages look same and so there is no flexibility. Many online business houses thus don’t like to use Facebook instead they create their own unique websites. • The Facebook has limited SEO web pages as the string is so long that search engines can’t actually optimize the page neither can it spider the pages easily. The Facebook CMS only allows dynamic generation rather than making it search engine friendly. Content duplicity is another problem that Facebook faces due to its CMS as the contents of the blogs are repeated by appearing on the front page or archives. • The Facebook CMS makes the loading very slow as one has to wait so that the pages are processed by the server. Sometimes hundreds of pages may be getting loaded at a particular time so then it takes quite a long time. As the attention span of the internet businessman is quite less, one may loose their client due to slow loading. • If the Facebook CMS goes wrong for some reason, it may take some time for the designers to know the fault and its cause. Therefore sometimes it may go unnoticed for quite a long duration cause discomfort and revenue loss to many. Some of the errors may also creep up as many novices may be using it. • There are some open source CMS which are used by Facebook which sometimes cause more trouble than help. As the open source CMS can be accessed by anyone, they may cause sabotage of some or other kind. Template designs can be altered which will affect the working of Facebook in a great way. Though the above stated drawbacks are quite possible with Facebook CMS yet we cannot rule out the advantages of Facebook CMS. It has made Facebook a very cutting edge instrument for social and business networking. The Facebook CMS has given lot of choices to the users as well as has made it a very interactive and voracious platform for idea sharing.
