It feels like there are a million things to do, people to please and not enough time in the day to do it all. It’s very easy to get caught up in the chaos. So what can you focus on when everything is being thrown at you in every direction? Your energy. How are you feeling right now? Are you happy, energized and full of life? Or do you feel drained, stressed out, and overwhelmed? Busy moms often mistake running around from place to place and multitasking with being energized. But really the opposite is true. This constant state of stress and anxiety makes us sick and unhappy. You’re working off adrenaline, not joy and that kind of energy wears off fast. So how can you get some of the good energy? Attract it. By now, most people have heard of the universal Law of Attraction. Whether you’ve seen it talked about on Oprah or read books about it or watched the DVD “The Secret”, this Law has been around since the beginning of time. And whether you believe in it, consciously practice it or are even aware of it, it’s always working. The law states, “like attracts like.” So whatever you focus on, good or bad, is what you attract in your life. Let’s take money for example. If you’re working really hard and still can’t seem to make ends meet, chances are you’re focusing on the lack of money you have. You’re worried, stressed out and wondering how you are going to pay the bills. Your focus is in the wrong place. So what can you do to turn things around? According to Abraham-Hicks, there are 3 simple steps for using the Law of Attraction. Step 1: Ask rnStep 2: It is given rnStep 3: Allow yourself to receive. rnStep 1: When you ask for whatever it is you want, the most important key is to be clear. Get specific. Write it down in detail and then visualize it. Ok, seriously, grab a pen and paper right now and write it down. Feel what it would be like to have it. Try and get your senses involved so it becomes real. So going back to the money example. Imagine what it feels like to pay your bills on time and have extra money every month. How much do you want to make per week/ month/ year? What are you going to do to make it happen? It’s important to note that action needs to happen in order to get what you want. It’s not about simply asking and then sitting on the coach watching soap operas waiting for your big payday. You need to continue to do what is necessary to make it happen while only focusing on what you want the end result to be. Step 2: Now that it is written, it’s out of your hands. This is a great step because this is where you simply let go and allow the universe to do what it does best. Step 3: In this step, you have to be a positive place to receive what you’ve asked for. It’s time to be kind to yourself and this must be practiced every day. Don’t get caught up in when it’s coming or the fact that you haven’t seen any results yet. If you focus on what you don’t have, you’ll just slow down the process. Know and trust that you’ll get it whenever you’re ready to receive it so only focus on what you want to create. Think about it in present time as if it’s already here. Feel how good it is to have it. Live it. When you receive what you asked for, you must acknowledge it and celebrate. Even if it’s only partially what you asked for. Make a big deal about it and give it and yourself the credit you deserve. Tips for speeding up the process · Clear the clutter and make room for what you want. · Trust that it will happen. · Read what you want every day. · Only focus on what you DO want. · Be grateful and happy about all that you have already. · Work hard and make it happen.
