Life is very beautiful and should not be wasted at any cost. Multiple aspects of life are childhood, career, success, family, love, friends, fun etc. and it will not possible to live and accomplish these various aspects without the support of a sound health. Though, there are various ways to instigate a healthy life, concisely, five ways to live a longer and healthier life can be outlined. To live life to the fullest, one must prioritize his health first. Health is wealth. If someone possesses good health and high self-esteem, there is nothing which can decelerate his growth and success.
Five Ways to Live a Longer and Healthier Life

1. The first way of living a healthy life is encouraging happiness. Though life is tough and full of unavoidable uncertainties, still it is possible to eliminate the negativities through faith, courage, motivation, optimism, good social circle and support of family. Stress is a deadly reason of almost all major health problems. So, priority should be given to oust this factor from its root.

2. The other undeniable method is welcoming and accepting a perfect lifestyle. The definition of perfection may be different for different people; however the common consensus emphasizes upon the factors like good eating habits, routine exercise, balanced professional and family life, enthusiastic social circle, periodic breaks from work and opting for holidays.

(a) To start with, the importance of healthy food can be elaborated. Nutritious foods like fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grain items are important to support and prepare the body to face the day long battle. Breakfast should not be skipped ever, because it kick starts the body and mind for the day ahead.

(b) Exercise like meditation, brisk walk, yoga is a way of releasing stress, exposing body to fresh air, filling mind with positive energy, improving body functions, maintaining healthy weight and slowing aging process.

(c) Support of family and friends is also needed to revitalize mind and boost self-esteem.

3. If someone is aspiring to live a healthier and longer life, he has to get rid of bad addictions. Smoking and alcoholism are considered as major contributing factors for increasing health complications. Already several campaigns are raising alarm against these deadly addictions. Smoking and alcoholism is responsible for various health hazards like lung cancer, liver cancer, heart attack etc.

4. Encouraging and embracing some good habits like drinking lots of water, minimizing salt consumption, taking stairs also stand well as an effective way of living a longer and healthier life. Water helps to flush out the harmful toxins from the system through sweat and urine. Minimizing salt consumption will assist to control the level of blood pressure, thus maintaining the risk of stroke. Taking stairs enhances the health of heart and increases strength of leg muscles.

5. Despite following most of the requirements to achieve a healthy life, sometimes health may not seem as perfect as it should be. An important way to certify a healthy and longer life is going for annual health check-up. Through routine health check-up it becomes easy to quickly identify the reasons responsible for sudden unfavorable health conditions.

It can be said that the above mentioned five ways of achieving longer and healthier life demand a positive gesture toward it. If someone tries most or at least few of the above mentioned methods, then the chance of living a strong, fit and disease fee life will definitely increase.
