TV, Pubs, video games, movies ... all of which distract you from your goals. While these are good "breaks", they should be just that - breaks. The ability to see absolutely, positively bull's eye and nothing but the bull's eye is rare. It is also the true hallmark of highly successful people. nnDo you know what your bull's eye is? If you have never had that focus, start with something that will be your bull's eye for the next 10 minutes. Something you can focus on intently and in a single-pointed fashion. Experience the energy that emanates from such intense focus. nnNow expand on that experience. Set goals that you can accomplish over longer periods.nnWhenever you feel overwhelmed, think about the Air Traffic Controllers. At any given point in time, they have hundreds of planes clamoring for their attention to land. Out of all of those planes, they choose one plane to land. They then focus intently on that one plane until it lands safely. Focus, and land those planes, one plane at a time. Experience the peace and energy that comes from such a practice. Build on these small victories until you can conquer bigger ones. Success will then be at your doorstep.n
