As rewarding as the network marketing industry can be, if you aren't producing enough prospects for your online business, you'll have a lot of headaches. What are the two needs that we all share as network marketers? More money coming in, and more leads to talk to. Luckily, there are many free marketing methods you can use to generate those prospects, starting today. However, you must be prepared to spend time in order for these free tactics to work. As marketers, we need to understand that it takes either time or money to get prospects for our business. There are some great paid advertising methods, but there are some great free techniques as well. What Are Some Marketing methods You Can Use To GetFree MLM Leads? Article Marketing You can write, right? One method that can be effective and keep brining results over the long-term is article marketing. Here are three important things to think about when considering article marketing as a marketing method for your business. rn1. What keywords will your article be targeting (what is your article going to be about)?rn2. Your article needs to be posted online, but where? Is this post going on a blog or site you own? Or on another site online somewhere.?rn3. How are you going to syndicate your content? rnSuccessful article marketing takes more than just putting up an article on a random subject and hoping for the best. Be sure you have answers to the questions above so you are getting the most out of the time you spend writing. Video Marketing Videos can be an tremendously effective technique of promoting your business, but just like article marketing, if you don't know what you're doing before you get started, you'll just be wasting your time. There's more to video marketing than throwing a small number videos of yourself up on YouTube and hoping people find them - but thats exactly how many marketers approach this strategy. If that is what you're doing, or planning to do, you're leaving some huge cash behind! Forum Marketing One of the very best niches to go after when generating prospects is other network marketers - and forums can be a good spot to meet them. That being said, the absolute last thing you want to do on a forum is start pitching your business - no one wants to hear it and it won't get you anywhere fast. If you are going to make use of this marketing strategy, it is important that you keep a small number things in mind: 1. Don't try and sell people on your business opportunity.rn2. Fill out our profile. Show that you're a real person, and not just someone doing this to make sales.rn3. Do add an avatar if allowed.rn4. Don't just read: contribute!.rn5. Leave all your links on your signature.rn6. Use the links in your signature to send people to personally branded websites (blogs or capture pages). They're clicking the link because they are interested in YOU as a person, so always deliver on that.rn7. Don't expect overnight results, you must be consistent and patient with this strategy. That means posting on the same forum(s) regularly, not just a handful of posts out of the blue and then nothing for days and weeks at a time.rn8. Join forums that are active and get a good quantity of traffic. Social Media Marketing When used appropriately, sites like Facebook, Twitter and other social media can be tremendously powerful lead sources. Just make sure you aren't running around spamming people about your opportunity. Are you seeing the pattern here yet? Think of it this way. If you met someone for the first time face to face, would you say "Hey, do you want to join my business opportunity?" Of course not. (I hope not, anyway ;)) So, why do people do that on social media sites? Meet people, build relationships with them and again, provide value. The people you meet will gradually learn to trust and respect you. From there their own natural curiosity will turn them into leads for your business, by trying to find information and links you've furnished. Be sure those links aren't pointing at generic sites though, remember it's YOU these people are interested in following! From here you should be able to build a solid foundation for your marketing going forward! Along the way, be sure to keep these two things in mind: 1. Patience and consistent effort are the keys to success with these approaches.rn2. Trying to sort out all of these at once is a recipe for failure. Take the time to master one strategy at a time before adding another one into the mix. If you try to tackle them all at once, it will be overwhelming. It's better to devote more time to less techniques, than less time to more strategies. Once you become skilled at each strategy, you can add a new one into your marketing plan!
