Funky prototype coming our way

The new Range Rover which is in its final phase of testing has been dispatched as hundreds of prototype models around the globe for trial in the toughest climates and conditions. To introduce the new car in ten key cities worldwide, Land Rover’s design team have fitted ten prototypes with funky camouflage wraps. Prototypes are usually disguised for discretion but Land Rover has every intention to make sure the 4x4s are noticed. Each of the funky camouflage image is a GPS mapping trail of the ten key cities for the new Evoque. Each of the ten funky camouflages on the vehicles says ‘hello’ to its key city for the eagerly awaited global launch of the new Evoque. The ten key cities that the vehicles represent are London, New York, Sao Paulo, Paris, Milan, Madrid, Berlin, Sydney, Shanghai and Moscow; these vehicles are just a small proportion of the hundreds of pre-production cars that are rigorously evaluated to ensure the Range Rover Evoque has the highest standards of quality and reliability. Land rover will send out teams of engineers to travel to 20 countries where they will pit the Range rover against the most extreme conditions on earth, ranging from the Arctic to the desert. Land Rover is working with 120 unique component suppliers and carrying out 17,000 individual tests to examine each separate part and system.rnThe new Range Rover Evoque is the smallest, lightest and most fuel-efficient model, which will go on sale during 2011 in 160 markets around the world. I am hoping to see the prototype of the Range Rover in Kent before I decide whether or not I want one.
