“You have to count on living every single day in a way you believe will make you feel good about your life….” n Jane Seymourn nWhen you get still and look at your life today is it all that you dreamed of? Have you created an environment that matches how you envisioned your life? Does the place in which you live feed your spirit or cause you to avoid it?nn No one dreams as a child that they will grow up, get married, buy a home and then not want to be in it. Your dream home is usually where you envision your family spending the holidays. Your dream is usually that everyone gathers together in the kitchen to cook a meal together or gathers together to play a game or watch TV. If this isn’t happening for you because clutter has run you out of your home then this is your wakeup call. nn When you realize that your stuff has you rather than the other way around the seed of willingness can now be planted. Simply being willing to NOT have your life dictated by your possessions is the beginning of getting your life back. When you admit you feel overwhelmed or out of control you have taken the first step. When you realize and admit, if only to yourself, that you can’t stop shopping you have overcome the first hurdle between you and the life you have dreamed about.n n It’s not about the stuff. You can move things around, sort them, put them in lovely containers but if they still overwhelm you then you haven’t addressed the issue. Getting organized, for some, is an inside job. It takes looking inside yourself at why you need the stuff and what the stuff means to you. If you really look beyond the stuff sometimes you can actually see the stress or unhappiness it contributes.n n Taking the steps you need to get your life back may feel too big if you look at them all at once. For today just realize that you may be willing to think about your stuff a different way. That’s all. Don’t call 1-800-GOT-JUNK yet. Let the truth settle in with you, be gentle with yourself. You deserve to live the life you have always dreamed . Take it from Jane Seymour…you need to feel good about your life!n
