The Simply Ghost Night venture to Bolling Hall or a ghost hunting event, on Saturday the 4th of June 2011. In 1643 the first ghost was sighted at Bolling Hall, believed to be the first ghost sighting ever recorded in the UK. Legend as it that the head of the Royalist army, the Earl of Newcastle felt his bedclothes being pulled away from him and saw an apparition of a lady. Another unexplained occurrence is the heart wrenching sobbing of an unseen child.
