This weekend was exceptional. It was hot and sunny and it seemed as though the days were full of life. Birds were singing, bees were buzzing and crickets were playing their tunes. There were sounds of children splashing in water everywhere. Even the cats were frolicking under the newly leaved bushes.

I took time to prepare and plant my garden. Planting for me is very relaxing. I go into myself when I am digging and putting my hands in the earth. As I dug I could feel the tension from the previous weeks leave my body. As my hands chu
ed the earth I could feel a renewing energy go through me. As I planted each plant and pushed in each seed I said to myself..."My life is just as important as this garden that I so lovingly and methodically am planting."

It was then that I realized that within each and everyone of us there is a garden. A bit of earth that is you.. A place that needs weeding now and again and replanted and fertilized so that new growth can begin.

Take time to nourish yourself not only with food, but also with mind treatments or prayer. Take time to weed out old thought patterns that no longer serve you. Replace them with seeds of great growth. Feed and water as needed so that continual growth is experienced.

YOU ARE STRONG, BEAUTIFUL AND BRILLIANT....
This earth, this universe, this one person is YOU....cherish , take care of and grow........
