1. Enjoy the work, not the fruits
Learn to get the pleasure right in the work itself that you are doing and not in the fruits. As fruits are not in your hand and only in the hands of the Almighty, you should never depend on the fruits for your pleasure. In case you worked hard and did not get the fruits, leave the business to God to analyse it. You have done your duty and your part is over; now you go on to your next phase of activity. You need not interfere in the part, which God has to play.
2.The more you give, the more you get
It is a wonderful divine law that whatever you give to others, it comes back to you doubled and tripled whether it is knowledge or material things. Some people try to hide some knowledge and some material objects from others so that others may not reach to their level. But the fact is that you gain more by giving. By giving knowledge to others, you become more prosperous. The philosophy behind the give and take theory is that whenever you give, your consciousness expands and you get more closer to your divine nature - all bliss, happiness, peace full of all goodness and virtues of life. Whenever we think of getting something from others, our consciousness contracts and we become away from our real nature and close to our lower nature. This is a kind of selfish attitude, which stops our growth and takes us further away from our ultimate goal.
3. Don't Procrastinate
Avoid habits of lingering things for tomorrows and ahead. Successful people are those who get up from their seat and take immediate action. The right time for starting or doing an appropriate thing is just now and not tomorrow. No person has ever been able to do anything tomorrow. Whatever great things have happened in the world, they were alone by persons who had always emphasized "today " and not "tomorrow ". Only talking and lingering things day by day is a sure sign of heading towards failure. So avoid laziness and get started.
4. Eliminate the ego and a feeling of doership
In all the work and things that you do have the attitude that it is God's work and it is being done under his guidance as a sevak or servant. He is the actual doer. You are simply a medium in his hand. After completion of the work again submit it to God with reverence and humility. Never develop ego or ahamkara that it is you who could do this work and so you now expect admiration and reward for this.
5. Brooding over the past and worrying for the future
Remember that the present is the most important moment of your life. What matters most to you and the world right now is what you are at present and not what you were or what you will do. People are only interested in what you are at present. By taking proper control of the present, we can not only lay a good foundation for our future but can even reduce the past effect of past karmic bonds considerably. The past should be used only for learning some lessons from it so that these mistakes are not repeated. Besides this there is no importance of the past. There is no dearth of opportunity in our life to progress. If you have lost some opportunities in the past, you can still catch the train now! nnn

Give it a rest. Well, I would, except joy is our basic nature. It’s what everything else we do is aiming for. Yes, money is nice, but why?
