I am really shocked at what people do to feel happy. It seems like this is a disease.

Actually I think what's really happening is that we all had this feeling of happiness at least once in our life. When we were born to this planet, at the beginning of our life there was happiness.

Pure happiness because there was nothing else. Our mind wasn't filled with rules, beliefs, statements or "know- ledge". The mind was just empty and feeling was the only thing there. Pure feeling.

You see this kind of happiness and this kind of total aware- ness in the face and in the eyes of a baby. Even if you had the worst day in your life, when you look into a baby's face it will change your mood.

So no wonder we all try to re-establish this mood.

Unfortunately, the way we are going about it is mostly based on outside activity. As long as these activities continue, we feel happy. It might last for a while.

But when you take away all the activities what happens? You feel unhappy, depressed and the only thing you can think about is doing something, anything. At least bring out the trash or clean the windows. Anything not to feel the unhappiness.

With the new born baby, his or her happiness in not based on outside activities. It is a natural state and yet it feels overwhelming for us adults.

I have learned in my life is to have the courage to follow a spiritual path. Whatever it is, is not important, but it is important to be on this path throughout your life. nn!*****!

It is the only way to be happy from the inside, therefore, it is the only way to achieve your natural body weight. nn!*****!

Why? Because it's not a matter of trying to "be happy all the time". That's a waste of energy. It is the deep knowing that "I am happy to be me".

That's something completely different. It has taken me years to feel the difference between this two statements.

Let's do a little exercise to discover the difference.

Feel: "I am happy"...

Please allow yourself a while to establish this feeling totally. Now go on with:

Feel: "I am happy to be me"...

Also, allow yourself to feel this completely. I am sure you feel the difference.

So when you feel "I am happy to be me" it doesn't matter what else you feel. You don't even have to label what kind of feeling it is, it just is.

It is the acknowledgment to yourself that you don't want to switch with a another person. No one else has the gifts and talents that you have. Nobody else has this unique combination that is called (your name here). nnn

I have a new cell phone. I didn’t want a new cell phone; I was perfectly happy with my 2020 cell phone, but it wasn’t happy with me. Its connector charging port was ailing. Failing, actually, the service tech told me. And besides, it was an old phone, what did I expect? Old? This to a woman who is more than content, read “thrilled,” to wear outdated fashions just because she likes them. And would willingly keep computers way past their supposed “shelf life.” Sigh. OK, fine,
