Your Thought World

I know that you have heard the saying *Practice Makes Perfect.* It is amazing to me how many words and phrases we think and speak on a regular basis which are basically NOT true!

Practice ONLY makes Perfect if it is *Perfect Practice*, which is usually not the case.

If we practice something wrong, we will simply continue to do that thing wrong. By continually fixing and refining the process, improving on it, and measuring the increasing results ... this will move us closer to excellence (not perfection).

More accurately, let's modify the phrase to *Practice Makes Permanent.* What you do on a regular consistent basis (or what you practice), this becomes your habit(s), which sets the pace for how you actually live your life by and the respective accomplishments that occur within it.

Yes, you become what your regular habits are, and this includes the thoughts (and thought patterns) that you continually carry around with you in your head (all the time - even on weekends).

I recently learned a new phrase ... and an accurate one at that! The phrase is actually just another simple concept called your *Thought World.* Wow ... your THOUGHT WORLD ... and No, it is not a different planet tha
Earth, however, for most of us, it feels this way.

What goes on in this World effects your every word spoken, movement made and ultimately, whether you succeed or not in whatever it is, that is really going on IN your Thought World.

It is very important to take control and complete responsibility to the *goings on* in this special place (located in the small 6 inch area between your ears). The main reason that it is so important is because this is the ONE and ONLY thing we, as individual human beings, DO actually HAVE control of. If this *authority* is NOT grabbed with tight fist *by the horns,* high probability is that you have NO control at all in your life ... Oops!

I hope and pray this is not YOU! And if it is, it is never too late to being *working this muscle* of the human mind. Develop and strengthen it. Focus attention on using your Thought World to concentrate and take serious action on moving in the direction that you were initially created for. Exploit your strengths, joys and areas of fulfillment, while increasingly minimizing the *not so good* parts.

Going for your Dreams is not an ove
ight process. You need to take a permanent vacation into your Thought World to create the way you know it should be for you. Take residence here, if only in your mind and heart at first. Think now, the way you will think then, when your Thought World transforms your Thought into Physical reality.

Relax ... take refuge, have fun and be strengthened each day in YOUR Thought World. nnn
