Three ways to become a more positive person: (Mentally) Wish others well even if they are annoying, causing you distress or they are negative. Example: a car cuts you off on the highway. Instead of blowing your horn, you smile to yourself and in your head (sincerely… not with your middle finger) wish the person a better day and a safe ride home. (Verbally) Say nice things to others. Speak nicely and smile often. (Physically) Do things for others. Help people without expecting them to return the favor or even to say thank you. Donate food, clothes, time, or whatever you have too much of. Don’t dwell on negative thoughts! Acknowledge them and let them go. Fill that space in your mind with positive, and positive will surround you. Think positive thoughts and believe them. Imagine a positive outcome and make that your focus. Every time a negative thought pops into your mind get rid of it quickly and think again of the positive outcome. Example: if you want to pass an exam you could imagine a big colorful “A” on the returned paper. Imagine it over and over. Feel how great of a feeling it is to pass that exam. Think of your emotions when you receive that “A”. You will feel joyous and bubbly and proud! But if in the back of your mind you are telling yourself that you really stink on test taking, you have just defeated your purpose of getting an “A”! So when that thought of stinky test taking enters your mind you must immediately let it go. Don’t give any time to the thought. Instead, replace it again with the feeling of getting the “A”. FEEL it! From the Universal Bank of Energy you will get out of it what you have put into it. If you continue to deposit negative energy you will continue to withdraw negative energy.
