Installing the gaming PC for beginners is a complex task, especially when there is no one to guide. But, there's nothing to bother about here; we come up with a helpful guide on"how to build a gaming PC." Follow the Guide by Gaming Silk mentioned below to build your gaming rig without any problem. Installing Motherboard and CPU If you assemble the motherboard from the outside of the case, it will make the rest of the work much more convenient. One of the essential things not to forget is to take help from the provided manual as much as possible. It is better to build a PC on a straight surface. Avoid assembling the PC on the carpet due to the static electricity mixture as it may cause component damage. I prefer to build your gaming rig on a place like laminate or hardwood floors. Get the motherboard out of the packaging and place it on the top of the box or a flat surface to get no scratch. Now remove the plastic piece from the motherboard's CPU socket so that you can easily open the tray. Once the tray opens, integrate your processor on the motherboard. Don't try pressure on the processor directly. In the end, when you close the tray, ensure that the metal arm is latched in the exact position. Integrate M.2 SSD and RAM If you find a thermal guard on the M.2 slots of the MOBO, therefore, in the first place, remove it. Then, install the M.2 SSDs on the slots. Just apply a gentle force, and the SSDs will easily slide into the slots. After this, you will notice the other opposite end is lifted in a diagonal direction. For this, you can use a relevant screw to fix the M.2 SSDs appropriately on their spots. You can also use that thermal guard again on the M.2 SSD to secure them. Furthermore, when you place a RAM so flip-down plastic clips from the slots you want to use. Suppose there are four RAM slots on your board, and you have only two RAM sticks to install. In this case, place the slots in intervals like one stick on the first and second on the third slot. By this, the CPU works more efficiently. Usually, installing RAM needs a significant force, but first, put a lightweight on it and gradually increase the power. You will notice a sound of the click, which shows that your RAM has been installed on the slots properly. On the other hand, if the clips are not filled up, RAM might not be adequately fitted. Install the Case and Power Supply With standoffs, you can easily install the mobo in your case. There will be a space on the case's back for the I/O ports in the rectangle. Now place your motherboard in your area to access the ports. Screw the MOBO onto the standoffs. Screw the standoffs but not very tightly. For the power supply, first, take the mounting bracket of the case and take a screwdriver to screw it on the rear of the power supply. Figure out the direction in which you want to orient the PSU and screw it on the mounting bracket. SATA Hard Drives Connections After the installation of the power supply, now connect SATA hard drives if there are any. In this case, a particular area is reserved for placing such types of drives. For further guidance, you can follow the manual. Plug the Case and Power Cables Plug your PSU into the board and plug EPS12V and 24-pin ATX cables in the required places on the PSU and motherboard. In the same way, plug all the power cables into the power supply unit. Upgrade the GPU For adding the GPU support to your board, check out where the PCIe× 16 slot is on the board. The longest one will probably be a slot with a different color than others probably. Read the user manual to see which places will suit the best Graphics Card if more than one PCIe ×16 slot. Install the Operating System Once you are sure that everything you have been connected and managed in an organized way accurately, then it's time to install the OS. It would be best if you upgraded Windows 10 on your PC. Therefore, you have to get a Microsoft Windows 10 license. Once the windows are installed on your gaming PC, you are all done. Conclusion Here we have completed the comprehensive steps for building a gaming PC. It follows all these steps and is also conce ed with the manual for installing the components appropriately. If you have any confusion, reread the post once again.
