The lovin’ part of “lover” usually happens face-to-face, on a living room couch, or in a bedroom (or a local park if you’re feeling particularly adventurous ;-) ).nnn n2. Keep the first phone call brief. nnWhen I say brief, I mean 5-10 minutes. Setting up a get together shouldn’t take longer than that. nnnn3. Make her laugh! nnSteer clear of topics like your *yawn* job… And your equally *yawn* family. BOOO-ring. Have something funny to say. Tell her something odd that happened to you that day… or tease her about the way she looked REALLY excited when you told her (yes, TOLD her) to give you her phone number. :-) Light-hearted conversation will entice her and make her WANT to spend time with you. nnnn4. Silence your fear of rejection and take a huge risk! nnTell her that you want to see her on __(whenever is convenient for YOU)___ and then SHUT YOUR MOUTH.n nDo not add “or whenever is good for you” or “if that works with your schedule.” In fact, do not even ask for her schedule first! If she wants to go out with you SHE will offer an alternative time/day if the date/time you suggested doesn’t work for her. nnYou just have to remember to close your mouth after you say it… and she will do the rest. nnnn5. Have an idea of where you want to go. nnThink about the conversation that you had with her when you first met. Did she mention any clues about her personality? Did she say that she enjoyed something? What was she wearing? Were you in a book store when you met? Or was it a nightclub? nnThink about the details and try to figure her out a bit. In order to do that you should listen more than you talk. nnAnd if she didn’t give you any clues when you first met her, then have 2 really interesting/nice/relaxed places in mind.
