Do you ever get blank stares when trying to explainrnyour dreams to friends and family? It's all to do with belief systems. Let me explain what I rnlearned in Jim Francis's amazing mind power research which rnis so obvious, yet many of us miss it... Everyone's mind is a result of a lifetime of cumulativerninfluences and experiences. E.g if you've been told as arnchild that telepathy doesn't exist then you accept this rnsubconsciously as a fact. This is your inherent belief rnabout telepathy, not a fact... but you believe this to be rntrue. If someone was to demonstrate that telepathy actuallyrnexists, your subconscious cannot accept it. When proof isrnoffered to a skeptic they simply block it from their mind.rnIt's almost as if they skip to a different reality zone. If you've tried to explain something new to someone andrnthey've developed a glazed look in their eyes, if theirrnattention drifts off, this could well be their mindrnblocking out your information. Some people just aren't as open minded as you. Don't let disinterested or disbelieving friends and familyrnstand in your way of following your dreams. Maybe from theirrnperspective, successful people are just 'lucky'. It'srnunlikely you'll change their belief system. Let their skepticism motivate you to prove them wrong. It can be a great motivator. Or try this… Think about the most important BIG goal you’ve setrnyourself. Think about how you’d like to be really motivatedrnto reach it, and to be really motivated to take action onrnthose smaller goals that will lead you there. Now, think back to a time in the past when you were reallyrnmotivated. Think about how you took action on thatrnmotivation and did whatever it was you set out to do. Run through that event and make the pictures bigger, rnbrighter and more colourful. Feel what you felt and suckrnthat motivation into your body as if you were there now, rndoing it again for the first time. Make the emotions stronger and stronger, and keep buildingrnup the feeling of taking action and successfully doing whatrnyou set out to do. Run the story through your mind severalrntimes, each time building the momentum. Now, as your motivation builds up, rub the palm of yourrndominant hand on your thigh. As you do so, think about evenrnmore occasions when you were highly motivated and increasernthose sensations even further. Keep rubbing your thigh, and know that whenever you want torncall upon that highly motivated feeling, all you have to dornis rub your thigh. Finally, while still rubbing your thigh, think about yourrnmost important BIG goal and all of the smaller goals yournmust complete to make it. Imagine reaching them withrneverything going well, reaching that big goal right on yourrndeadline. Can you see what we’re doing here? We are taking yourrnmotivation – which you clearly have – and adding it firstrnto the motion of rubbing your palm on your thigh, andrnsecondly adding that motivation to the thought processes ofrnreaching your most important goal. Now the great thing is that you can do that exercise forrnevery goal you set yourself. By imagining it all goingrnperfectly well and reaching every goal on time, you’rernincreasing your self-belief and getting your motivationrnflowing around your body. And when you’re highly motivated and you take action onrnthat motivation then you’re much more likely to reach yourrnsmaller goals which, in turn, breeds even more motivation. If it helps, do that exercise a few times. You’ll soon feelrnincredibly motivated and, when your motivation starts tornsubside, rub your palm on your thigh to start bringing backrnall of those amazin*g motivational feelings! And if at any point in the future you find yourrnrub-your-thigh motivational trigger subsiding, simply dornthe entire exercise again. Still struggling to stay motivated? Here’s how I keep going… My biggest motivation is fear. It's not the fearrnof NOT achieving my dreams that scares me, it's imaginingrna life where I knew my dreams were possible but giving rnup on them. That's whats scares me the most. That's what drives me on. Many people live a life where their dreams died along withrntheir childhood. What was once a life filled with unlimitedrnpossibilities, has now become a life of boredom andrnmediocrity. By reading this article I know you'rerndifferent. You've opened your eyes and your mind. You've discoveredrnyour potential. You can now choose a life of purpose and passion... or a lifernfilled with regrets. Isn't that motivation enough? *****************************************rnIain Legg begin_of_the_skype_highlighting     end_of_the_skype_highlighting is now giving away Gold membership at his 'Your Instant rnSuccess Library' website .
