People lose valuable success, health, relationships and life force because they get up and go to bed every day verbally beating them self up. This self abuse is widely accepted in our culture as we see it on TV in the movies and listen to it on the radio as a form of entertainment. It is said to be funny and comedians use verbal self-abuse to have audiences laugh at them.
Yet, this form of beating yourself up and continued self-abuse kills a lot of your abilities to achieve your aspirations and after long periods of use can become a depressed state of being. When you tell yourself something that is verbally abusive your body hears what you say. In fact your body hears every thing you say. This way when you say something happy your body has to produce happy chemicals in your brain to give you the feeling of happiness.
As well, when you say something angry, fearful or depressing your body makes those chemicals too and distributes them throughout your body. When you are self-abusive your body and mind lose valuable mental clarity and you begin seeing the world and your life through a depressed state. When you say something nice about yourself you enhance your abilities along with your mental clarity.
We may get confused and only think that we are supposed to hear nice things about us from other people however, this is not the case. In the science of results oriented thinking we become more able at responding in ways that fill our life force with necessary chemicals to help us achieve. You can not achieve your goals and dreams if you are beating yourself up every day because this dampens your state of mind and drive to take action.
In the science of results oriented thinking we learn that we are not our thoughts. So you are not the thoughts you have about yourself, positive or negative. In the science of results oriented thinking we learn that thoughts are tools that help us develop experiences. To stop beating yourself up, you must ask yourself a simply question. What experience would I like to create?
Then you begin telling yourself the thoughts that empower the experience you want to manifest. You use power thinking, affirmations, inspired thoughts and thinking that supports the experience you want to have. In the science of results oriented thinking we learn that you are not what you are telling yourself, because what you tell yourself is merely an experience in the moment. It is also just a habit, you are not the bad feelings you feel. You are not what you are telling yourself in the moment.
Learn to stop the self-abuse by becoming kind to yourself. It’s just like Wayne Dyer said, “Change the way you look at things and the things you look at will change.” This includes you.
