An article writing plan should be a key part of most every business’s marketing strategy. That being stated, getting it to happen effectively and in a timely manner, and thus, successfully, is another matter! Composing articles that are pertinent to your business, the goods or services that you offer, the customers and prospects and suspects that you want to pull in, and the marketplace within which all interact, is one of the most important promotion tactics that can be employed. And economical, too. But sitting down with a stack of references gushing forth their wisdom on the how’s and what’s and why’s and then putting pen to paper, or hands to keyboard, and miraculously creating an article marketing masterwork that gets motivated buyers speeding to you eagerly, well, good luck with that! I mean, I can think about my “How to Write Great Articles” checklist, something like: Keyword Placement: Set carefully researched keywords in the title, the first and last paragraphs, and perhaps once or twice more in the main body of your article. Get the point across but keep away from scaring the reader away. Catchy Headline: Highlight your keywords with some attention seizing phrase like “Three points to …..” or “How to find the Best...”. Content with Substance: Compose articles that have information with worthwhile contentin them. Share with your reader something they may not already know, provide them possible answers to concerns they’re facing, emphasizing the benefits and results they can expect from the features you’re pointing out. But don’t ramble overlong, just enough to inspire them to get “the rest of the story.” Closing or Resource Box: Capture the full potential out of your concluding paragraph or resource box, if available. Declare your expertise concisely. Better to drive homean effective and appropriate call to action, What should they do next and how? Be sure to provide both a website url (http://www.BestStuff.com) and hyperlink, if possible, in case the link is lost over time. And then, after this worthwhile memory jogger, while contemplating mightily on the thought, “Write articles!”, the little invisible devil on my shoulder whispers “Really should get the lawn mowed,don't you think?” in my ear, and I gladly exclaim, “Good idea.” And just like that, my motivation is broken, due largely to limited inspiration.
