How you can quit smoking with Hypnosis quickly and easily

Hypnosis is one of the most effective, if not the most effective ways to quit smoking. As a Hypnotherapist on the Island of Kauai I work with many smokers. The first thing you need to realize is this: You smoke because a part of you is gaining something from you smoking. If smoking didn't do anything for you, you wouldn't be smoking. Trying to use willpower to quit smoking is a complete waste of time. The reason is because smoking is largely an unconscious behaviour. The more a person tries to change an unconscious behaviour using the conscious mind, the more negative things will happen. Usually the amount a person smokes will increase. This alone can stress the person out causing them to smoke even more. In order to quit smoking with Hypnosis you need to do the following: 1) Connect with the "part" of you that causes you to smoke. I'm not talking about a literal "part" of you. Its more metaphorical. Simply close your eyes and ask that the part of you that causes you to smoke. Once you have connected with this part just ask it "What do you want for me? What kind of feelings are you trying to get". Remember, you want some positive resources. If this part says something like "I don't want to be nervous in social situations" ask again. It needs to be phrased in the positive. 2) Generate those feelings. Use self-Hypnosis to bring these feelings up strongly in your body. Once you can feel these feelings in your entire body imagine that you can see yourself on a movie screen. See yourself as the on-smoker you want to be. How do you move, breath, talk, hold yourself, etc. Take as much time as you need to become aware of what you look like as a on-smoker. 3) Step into the new you on the screen. Basically imagine that you are stepping into the new you on the screen. As you do this hold onto those feelings that you created. 4) Imagine yourself in the future as a on-smoker. Imagine that you're a week in the future completely smoke free. As you hold onto these feelings become aware of how you are breathing, moving, and interacting in the world. Do this a week in the future, a month, 6 months, and then 5 years into the future. 5) Thank this part for communicating with you. Let this "part" of you know that you acknowledge it. Everyone wants to be recognized, and our unconscious is no different. If you would like for this to be much easier consider visiting a competent Hypnotherapist in your area.
