Increasing Success

Everybody's speaking these days about success. In any book, seminar or video, your hear about success and how to make it happen. I don't see many people looking at success as something that should apply to everything: career, relationships, health, etc. When one of my clients told me he wants to increase his professional success, I asked him what his life purpose was. He had no clue! How can someone be successful if he doesn't have a vision of his life purpose? Don't rush into buying things that promise you everything. First, look inside you, discover yourself, your dreams, desires -- the good and the bad. If you see fog when you imagine your life purpose, there's no book that will do the work for you. As one of my friends says, "Have a date with yourself." You'll know yourself much better. Choices and action will come more easily. Knowing yourself will lead to a clear image of your life purpose. If it doesn't happen and you feel stuck or overwhelmed, it might be something else that's limiting you. If you have fears about choices, there could be triggers from the past. Stay centered and let go of the past. Regrets won't bring back the things you think are lost. Acknowledge your accomplishments! Let go of the blaming and criticizing! Celebrate yourself!
