Infatuation is the auto-pilot of love when you first meet someone

The reason so many marriages "crash and burn" is people actually believed that they could operate on "auto-pilot" for the duration of the marriage. When turbulent weather shows itself and the pilots of the marriage must fly the plane, many ...times they crash and burn because they do not possess a plan, knowledge, skills, tools, desire, and self discipline that allows them to operate and function in a healthy marriage. DO NOT be fooled into thinking that infatuation is the "real love" of a relationship because not if but when it wears off and you are 57,009 feet in the air, you better know how to fly and land the plane of marriage. What we DID (acts of service, quality time, giving words of affirmation, giving of gifts, and physical touch) when we are "infatuated" with a person before marriage, we may not do after the "infatuation" wears off after marriage. After marriage we tend to revert back to the person we were before we got "infatuated". Our behavior tends to change once the love bug of "infatuation" wears off. Many married people complain that their spouse stopped doing the "special things" that they did when they dated now that they are married. If you want to experience the feeling of "being in love" again, both people should start back doing the things you did when you were dating and heavily infatuated with the person you are now are married to.
