MAKING A CHOICE WITH TRUTH

Politically and personally, in a democracy where people can enjoy freedom in their own responsible choices that have consequences that shape their lives, the all important issue is knowledge. Before making important choices that are personal and in our elections, it is vital for individual and societal well being that all of the relevant, truthful facts be weighed and understood.

Isaiah 28:17 With the upcoming primaries and elections, U.S. citizens are being bombarded on every side by the opinions, advice and endorsements of commentators, pundits, politicians, sports figures, neighbors, advertisements, etc. on which choices to make for issues and elected government officials. Most people want to responsibly think for themselves and make their own choices based on their own knowledge and principles. One important issue of choice that is greatly politicized at this time in our nation and that is passionately divisive is the issue of abortion: on whether a parent has or has not the right to kill the unbo
child in the womb. Certainly, before making this important choice, parents should be fully informed of the spiritual, medical and psychological facts and consequences of the taking the life of a child. Likewise, all the citizenry should be fully informed about so consequential an issue as abortion, with pro life and pro choice-abortion candidates and issues, before taking on the responsibility of making choices at the polls. MEDICAL FACTS: THE EARLY DEVELOPMENT OF THE FETUS

The first six months of pregnancy, at about four weeks, the fetus's heart has developed, and by eight weeks the fetus has begun to develop nearly all of its body organs. All of the vital organs, the heart, brain spinal cord, liver, and kidneys are formed during the early stage of pregnancy. During the third week, the neural groove forms: the all important beginning of the baby's central nervous system. During the fourth week the digestive system, face, and mouth begin to take shape and the heart is beating.

The baby can feel pain during an abortion. Abortion can seriously affect, even end, a woman's fertility. The abortion pill has been known to cause serious side effects and is not a simple, painless one-step process. There can be serious complications from abortion including sterility and even death. Most abortions are performed on women who's life and health are not endangered by their pregnancy. Babies at only 6 months of development, sometimes even less, have survived and developed into healthy, happy individuals. Few Partial Birth Abortions are performed to 'save the mother's life' and in fact, may endanger a woman's life or reproductive health. Partial Birth Abortions have been performed several times the rate admitted to by our government. Most women eventually regret having an abortion. Of those who regret having an abortion, a significant number suffer serious long-term emotional and mental illnesses. There are more people waiting to adopt healthy babies than there are babies to go around. Abortion always stops a beating heart. PRO CHOICE IS PRO ABORTION

The proponents of the * separation of church and state that have denied the value of spiritual awareness to our citizens in many cases, should consider the influence of politics that is invasively permeating our moral, medical choices. The politicizing of infanticide in abortion to gain votes is a prominent part of most political campaigns. POLITICIZING INFANTICIDE

There is an insidious terror taking place in this nation against the most innocent that are alive with beating hearts among us, yet voiceless and unheard, except for the cries of pain and torture that cannot be heard except by GOD; and by those of us that can only imagine the horror. That is the killing of late term infants, known as the partial birth abortion procedure. In this procedure, while yet in the womb, a hole is drilled in the alive and feeling, imminently fully formed baby's head through which his or her brains are sucked out and removed, and the skull is crushed. The special interest groups that have put personal, self-serving "freedom" of choice above the discouragement of immorality and crime, have supported and promoted among others, the present Clinton administration and without doubt have attributed to its former popularity. These groups are bent on maintaining their "rights", and refuse to acknowledge the above mentioned factual medical evidence of infanticide in the partial birth abortion procedure and the rights of these infants ( as detailed below.) To be sure, many candidates all around the nation use their support of abortion to lure the alliance and backing of these groups, so that abortional infanticide has become a convenient political tool used by many to gain position and power. This practice also assaults the Laws of GOD that inspired the Individual Protective Rights Laws that are found in THE CONSTITUTION, UNIVERSAL BILL OF RIGHTS, THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE, PROTECTIVE MEDICAL RIGHTS LAWS, and THE CRIME LAWS of the land; and is destructive to the very foundation of our nation.

There has been a Congressional Bill to ban the partial birth abortion procedure put before President Clinton several times, and each time he has refused to sign the ban. If he were to sign the ban, it would make the procedure illegal, except to save the life of the mother, which would save the lives of countless infants that indiscriminately by it are tortured and killed. Yet, the President has made the choice each time not to ban the procedure, which maintains the support of the special interest groups that has kept his political advantage with the misguided popular vote. If you are pregnant, under aged and confused, never try to get an abortion illegally. There are many incompetent doctors with unsanitary conditions and you could suffer from serious postoperative infections or even die in that situation. There are social programs and pro life organizations that can help you and all others in the decision to wisely not kill your baby. In North America and many other areas of the world there is great demand for childless couples to adopt. Some couples may sponsor you through the pregnancy, paying your medical and grocery bills; etc. Legally, through a legitimate agency or lawyer, couples may be willing to pay you a lump sum to deliver your baby to them. Never go through the underground baby market.

Oftentimes members of one's family or the father's family could be willing to adopt the baby. This could be a very good solution for you and the baby. There are many social programs available to you that are provided by the government or your community that you could look into. For financial conce
