Everyone has had setbacks before. Normally, most people find a way around, over or through their setbacks. But then, there are those who begin to believe in their mistakes. They begin to give their mistakes life by constantly reliving them. Ernest Holmes says "if the belief in the necessity of mistakes stays in the consciousness, then there is bound to be a repetition." The Science of Mind, page 290
If you believe in mistakes, you will make them, and you will repeat them constantly and consistently. I remember as a young pastor, making some wrong choices. The consequences of those choices produced results I didn't want. Such was the power of my concentration on the "mistake", that I proceeded to prophetically repeated the same sequence of events several years in a row. Perhaps you are like I was and you are thinking, if only I woulda, coulda, shoulda, mighta, oughta. If only . . .
Who says opportunity only knocks once in a life time? By what decree did this limiting statement become a Universal Law? The only person who can decree no oppor- tunities is you. You are the Father-Mother of your thought. How you interpret the events in your life, will determine if you become limited by them. Opportunity will knock over and over again, if you think it will.
Never forget your divine origin. You exist one in Mind, and Perfect Action follows your thought. You know your thoughts are governed and divinely guided and you are led into right action. Your conditions are the reflection of your thought. If you believe in mistakes, you have mistakes. If you will believe in Perfect Action, you will have Right Action.
Isn't it time to stop making excuses? Isn't it time to stop thinking about the past? Know right now, that Right Action is in every decision you make from this time forth. Dream again, plan again, do it again. This time do it better. Dream it bigger and plan it with the knowledge of Perfect Action - No Mistakes.
Today I affirm the Truth Is:
"I represent the Truth, the whole Truth and nothing but the Truth. It is unerring, it never makes mistakes. There are no mistakes in the Divine Plan for me. There is no limitation, poverty, want nor lack. I stand in the midst of ete
al opportunity, which is forever presenting me with the evidence of its full expression. I am joy, peace and happiness. I am the spirit of joy within me. I am the spirit of peace within me, of poise and of power. I am the spirit of happiness within me. I radiate Life; I am Life. There is One Life and that Life is my Life now." “Weight-Train” Your Brain
I have a new cell phone. I didn’t want a new cell phone; I was perfectly happy with my 2020 cell phone, but it wasn’t happy with me. Its connector charging port was ailing. Failing, actually, the service tech told me. And besides, it was an old phone, what did I expect? Old? This to a woman who is more than content, read “thrilled,” to wear outdated fashions just because she likes them. And would willingly keep computers way past their supposed “shelf life.” Sigh. OK, fine,
