The moment we know what we want and we stick to it, we feel satisfied. Why settle for a print when you know it is original oil painting that you desire most? We do not live for some people’s acceptance and love. We give love and expect nothing in return while us striving to achieve things that can make us happy.
It is enough that we know what we want, what can make us happy and feel satisfied and we go for it with no inhibitions. And most of all we do not give love for us to be loved. There, we feel ourselves as a whole.Love without expecting anything in return and live life the way we want our life to be is noble. Being with someone that compromises who we are and what we are will kill the nobility in life. Our tendency is to impose who we are and what we want to the person while him or her will do the same thing to us because each has his own concept of what is right and wrong and most often than not such concept is self-serving. Live separately. This way, no one is compromising who for what. Yet if it is manageable to stay as friends, we better be. After all, we all should be despite differences. By heaven’s love, God will take care of whom to send us who will respect our wants, our preferences, and in his best effort will provide everything to address who we are while us loving every bit of him and treating him like he is the best of Asian art. Yet despite this overflowing love from someone, we better not lose ourselves in the process because people in our lives come and go. This will shift our life’s gear from heaven to hell and vice-versa only to realize that no one is left but “ourselves”. And no other someone can mend us to be back to wholeness again but the broken pieces of us.Loving and taking care of ourselves should be our priority.
However, the real deal is that we seem to live for others.
This is why such advice had been repeated over and over mentally to mankind because it is not easy to do for a reason that we are born for others. But to atleast exert effort of taking care of ourselves means strength to us when the heavens start to call us for duty. It is not easy to fulfil our destiny when we are broken. Making us a whole is knowing what can make us happy, what we want, and sticking to it. If it is original oil painting, then so be it! The key is to achieve happiness not at the expense of someone. People have their own perception of how can make others happy but the reality is it is ourselves who know well what can make us feel satisfied.
