nA Resolution you can Keep!nnMany have worked with UC Fitness, been to the website (www.ucfitness.biz) to view the before and after weight-loss pictures or have seen the posters at our location and wonder how did those people do it?n nI could give you an answer that is so confusing you'll have to rush in and buy a membership, personal training and a book, but the answer is very simple. Most people in America will begin a new diet they read in a book or saw advertised on TV. They will buy exercise programs and equipment that will become furniture. On January 2, 2008 they will proclaim the year of "insert name" has begun. Sadly to say by the 26th of February most will have given up on this year of change.n nWhy? Often time, it's because the program they were using was too complicated and required major changes in their lives. They hurt themselves on their new equipment or in the gym where no one will help, unless a payment is involved. Some set unrealistic goals and when they don't see the change happening fast enough, they give up.n nThe reality is most of the health industry is not designed with you in mind. It's designed with your wallet in mind. Like most companies the money is in the repeat customer, so if I sell you a book, a pill, a drink, a powder, etc... I need you to see very little results so you can come back to buy again. You can't blame them for wanting to make a living, but the world is becoming smaller and smaller, the population larger and larger, so they don't have to squeeze every drop out of each customer.n nOur members at UC Fitness know this is a learning gym. We want you to change your lifestyle so that no matter where you live you can maintain a healthy lifestyle. One of the things we tell our personal training clients is that, "We want you to change your lifestyle so you can fire us!" This way they can continue on as members or if they move away they will still be a success!n nSo what's the big secret that most of the health industry doesn't want you to know? The secret is no secret at all. After we discover how many calories/day it takes to maintain the our clients current body, we simple reduce that number by 500 calories/day. If someone is eating 2000 calories/day we reduce it to 1500 calories/day. This alone and the average person will lose one pound a week. Add in some ever changing and increasing exercise and that number will go to two or more pounds a week. Now there are some exceptions. Those are people with a medical condition like menopause or hyper-thyroids, but the proper medication can help there. Also some of you don't have a pound a week to lose anyway. Well that's it! That's a major part to my clients dramatic changes.n nAll you have to do now is do it! If you need any help you know where we are.n nUC Fitnessn10 Roswell StnAlpharetta, Georgia 30066 n678-708-0999

Movement is one of the most honest forms of self-connection. The body never lies. It holds stress, records emotion, and reveals when something feels off. For many, this is why exercise has always been more than fitness; it’s therapy through motion. But not all movement heals. Some styles exhaust, others distract. True healing often begins in the slow, intentional kind, the kind that lets the body lead and the mind follow.rnThat’s where precision-based training, such as re
