How come there are so many people (fat and thin alike) who are more than willing to lecture you on the best or "only" way to lose weight but actually only end up scrambling your brain with misinformation and tightly woven contradictions? This mass of misinformation and contradictions is precisely why there are so many folks who find losing weight naturally an almost unachievable task - or at least very difficult. There are four specific myths that are causing a great deal of stress and despair (and weight loss failure of course) for a lot of would-be weight losers. We'll discredit those myths right now; Fat makes you fat Untrue - while some saturated fats and fats such as those contained in homogenized products like margarine and some cooking oils are very bad for you, there are a lot of fats such as those contained in walnuts and avocado for instance, that can be extremely beneficial for our health. There are plenty of calories in fat but not all fats are likely to be stored in your body as actual fat, so you really shouldn't ignore fats completely. They can in fact help you to feel fuller, which in turn can only help to stop you from making a pig of yourself at the dinner table (or the breakfast table or - well you know what I mean!). You ought to watch every calorie Untrue - while you certainly need to curtail calories, especially those from the unsuitable type of foods, you really don't have to perform complicated calculations and be categorically spot-on about your daily calorie intake - thats just plain irksome! Just so long as you're eating the acceptable amounts of good healthy food at the right times, then your calorie count will be low enough to have the desired effect without you having to cart your scientific calculator around with you. Crash diets are the best Untrue - in fact, they can take a terrible toll on your health and looks. You must have seen people with those huge sagging folds of skin and wrinkles left from a rapid drop in weight. I'd say it's pretty obvious that very fast massive weight loss just cannot be a beneficial thing for anybody. All crash diets are a general spin-off from one that came before and are normally very easily reversible - all your previously lost weight quickly comes back (probably with a few extra pounds just for spite)! It's just not easy Untrue - it's actually very easy. The only reason weight loss is so often viewed as complicated and arduous is because of all that misinformation and contradiction that seems to be readily dished out by all and sundry. In summary; the simplest weight-loss systems, methods or programs almost always prove to be the most successful. Natural, speedy, healthy and permanent weight-loss isn't and has never been about overly complicated dieting systems and/or poisonous diet pills - it's all about simplicity, a bit of will-power and genuine weight-loss knowledge.
