How can you make hair thicker? This is a question that is asked by many women. Just like men, as women get older, they begin to lose some of their hair. In addition, some women lose hair during their pregnancy, or other hormonal changes, such as menopause. Men feel embarrassed by hair loss, but thinning and receding hair can be potentially devastating for most women. For this reason, women need to seek ways to make hair look longer and fuller. So, how can a woman make hair thicker and fuller than ever before? Here is a list of five possible solutions to make hair thicker: • Eat Healthy Foods - Start by implementing healthier foods into your daily diet. Foods that are rich in vitamin B and vitamin C are great for your skin, hair and nails. You could take some vitamin supplements before your meals, or better yet, eat lots of tuna, turkey, potatoes and bananas. They all have high amounts of vitamin B. Oranges, strawberries, lemons and guavas are all excellent sources of vitamin C. • Shampoos - There are some shampoos that supposedly give you more volume. Some women swear by them, while others say that they didn't give them the thick hair they wanted. It's best to shop around, and try a few brands. • Stop Smoking : Nicotine is a vasoconstrictor. It raises the blood pressure, and together with other toxins found in cigarettes, can cause your hair to thin. Research has shown that the minute you stop smoking, your circulation increases, and hair often starts growing again at a faster rate, and is much fuller. • Coconut Oil - Coconut oil contains fatty acids that strengthen your hair from the roots up. It makes your hair thicker and more vibrant. Massage it deep into your scalp a few times a week, and you'll notice the difference. • See Your Hairstylist - If you check with a hairstylist, they have many styles that make your hair thicker in appearance. Just say you want to check out styles that make your hair look like it has more volume. Remember, stress can also play a factor in thinning hair. Excessive worrying is never good, and can cause other health related problems, too. Exercise plays a double role with your hair. It keeps you physically fit, and it reduces stress. Try exercising at least three times a week for at least 45 minutes. Make sure you combine aerobic and anaerobic exercises to keep your heart healthy and your body fit and trim. As you can see, in this article we have discussed five possible ways to have a fuller hair appearance. It's up to you to start implementing some of these tips as soon as possible. Never let anyone tell you that it's not possible to make hair thicker. Trying to replace what has already gone can be very difficult.
