Making 2016 the best year ever

We were all born to live a successful life. We were all born with divine purpose. We are all born with unique talents and skills which contributes to development of this world. Some people are able to actualize their purpose and fulfill their destiny. Others are destined to recognize the challenges we need to overcome to become the beautiful beings we were born to be.

It is easy to have a great time yet focus on a negative occurrence. That's what we do. As part of our journey we need to retrain our minds to allow the positive to be our focus. Once we focus on the positive things we never noticed before would start to appear. For example, have you ever noticed once you buy something, that’s the time when you notice others who have made the very same purchase? This is what happens when our perspective changes. We are open to a new reality that always existed but were not fully aware of.

In order to change your present situation and learn how to manifest your reality, you must first create a new concept of who you are. You are no longer this person who feels stuck, miserable or dissatisfied. (Wait, I was projecting!). You are a spiritual being having a human experience. It is the experiences and challenges we are going through as part of our journey towards enlightenment. These challenges do not define us. What we are going through are lessons we need to learn to realign our purpose on this earth. Define yourself based not on your present state, but on who you aim to become. I am a coach, a therapist, a facilitator, a guide to help others to redefine themselves and develop the tools required to embark on this wondrous journey called life.

The reality is, without this new definition, you will continue to remain stuck. We become what we think about. When you give, the Universe will provide in return. If you think of a Life of abundance, this is what you will attract. The same as if you think of a life of scarcity. A life of scarcity will render you paralyzed with fear. You will have a hard time believing that success is possible since you feel there isn’t enough in the world to go around. It is this same view of scarcity that has driven countries to war. Positive affirmations and expressions of gratitude allow us to feel happy with what we have and happy in life overall. That positive energy reaches out and connects with other positive people, which in turn leads you to more positive experiences in life. Thus, as you monitor your thoughts and feelings, your outer reality becomes aligned with your inner thoughts.

Expand your viewpoint of what that outer reality can be. Visualize living the lifestyle you always dreamed about. You should not allow your imagination to be restricted to how your life is at that moment. This is not the time to keep it real! Lifestyle change does not come from making gradual improvements, they come from big shifts in thinking. In my lifetime, we went from 8 tracks, to cassettes to CD’s and now mp3’s. Each creation has made it easier to listen to music anywhere. If people made incremental changes to mobile music, we would be carrying smaller versions of 8 tracks instead of listening to music via our mobile phones. Without large visions of a new reality, unseen to our present reality, these changes would not be made. Fear not of what you do not have to make your dreams come true. For as long as you believe it to be true and work feverishly towards those goals. You start to see brand new opportunities that will help you to achieve a life you previously thought was unattainable. This is your inheritance from the Universe! So visualize success!

Have faith in the process. Your journey is your own. You will meet people or find situations that will assist us in our journey. We may ask them to join us but we are not responsible for them. Many times in our past, we have met people who came into our lives for a short time but we didn’t always understand their purpose. Let us keep our eyes open to new realities, without holding onto old fears. The disconnect from us wanting to do something and doing it, really comes from ourselves. We spend our lives trying to protect ourselves and trying to protect our inner wounded child. Those wounds, although real, allows us only to make safe bets in life. After trusting our process, when we get to the other side, that is when we learn all our fears have been all for naught.

So to make 2016 a better year, we need to change our thoughts and redefine ourselves. We must visualize success, shooting for a life beyond our present reality. As we trust the process, we will be introduced to people and situations that will make our success inevitable. Being successful is our divine right and will be in cooperation with the Universe. Whatever we can believe, we definitely can achieve.
