MDX Tutorial is fruitful for the multidimensional support

MDX tutorial (Multidimensional expressions), is a syntax which supports the definition and change of multidimensional objects and data. It is similar to the SQL (Structured Query Language). MDX is not a development in the SQL language. It is a fact that MDX can supply some functions but not as well as SQL can. Each MDX query requires a data request like in the SQL query. These structures are called cubes which have multiple dimensions. In a cube where the dimensions intersect each other, there may be many elements of data which is called a measure.
