The yogic breath
Sit or lie down with your neck, head, and spine in alignment; a gently erect spine from sitting bones to head, your chin slightly tipped forward, and your face, jaw and tongue relaxed. Place your hands on your chest and breath in and out through your nose, feeling your chest expand. Repeat 3-4 times. Now place your hands on your belly and inhale through your nostrils, let your belly expand with air. Exhale completely through your nose. Repeat 3-4 times. Next, place your left palm on your chest and your right palm on your belly. As you inhale through your nose, breathe into the bottom of your lungs feeling your belly expand, slowly filling the lungs with your breath up into your chest, feel your ribs expand. Exhale through your nose slowly at the same rate as the inhale, releasing your breath from your chest then your belly. Repeat 3-4 times. Now close your eyes, rest your hands on your lap or on the floor, and repeat the yogic breath 10 times.

Alte
ate nostril breathing
