Narconon Trois-Riveres Pledges to Create a Drug Free Québec

As of April 16, 2009, Narconon Trois-Rivières has made a pledge to create a drug free Québec. Our plan is to eradicate the drug problem affecting the great province of Québec, and to do this it will take dedicated team players. Narconon Trois-Rivières, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre located in Trois-Rivières, Québec, has joined forces with Narconon Canada and Narconon Saint-Laurent, both located in Québec City, Québec, and Narconon spokesperson former NHL hockey player, Claude Lapointe, and numerous social betterment organizations across the entire province of Québec. We have all pledged to make this province the first drug free province within Canada. This will be a huge challenge; yet, with dedicated people working towards the same purpose, this can and will be done.nnNarconon Trois-Rivières wants to accomplish this because we want to put an end to the pain and suffering a drug and or alcohol addiction can cause. We want to see the youth of today live a childhood without getting involved with drugs and or alcohol. The more they know about the dangerous effects of drugs and alcohol, the better decisions they will make. These preventative actions are the starting point in achieving a drug free province. Over this year we will get the message out and rally the support, and while doing this we will save as many lives as possible along the way. There is no better feeling in the world knowing you have given parents back their son or daughter. You have brought a mother and or father back together with their children. You have reunited families, and brought back to them, their loved one. The more lives that are saved from the chains of addiction, the more support will rally together to show the whole world it can be done.
